North Bay Children’s Center (NBCC) $15,000 to promote school readiness for 50 low-income preschool children at the McDowell Elementary School site through comprehensive child development and family support programs. (Special grant from the Mildred Yount Manion Charitable Foundation)  

Sunny Hills Services $8,000 to prevent 140 at-risk youth from becoming involved in gangs by participation in the Community Engagement and Youth Development program, which provides individual, group and family counseling; anger management classes; life skills training; mentoring; and academic/vocational support.    

Free Bookmobile of Sonoma County is dedicated to providing quality affordable housing, housing support services, and advocacy for the low-income senior community. $3,000 to encourage a love of reading and easy access to books through 30 Bookmobile visits to preschools, development center sites, and other locations serving low-income youth, adults, families, and seniors.  

Rebuilding Together Petaluma $7,000 to strengthen the local safety net by providing free emergency home repairs for low-income seniors so that they may live in warmth and safety, with improved energy efficiency and independence.

Petaluma Small Craft Center(PSCC) $1,600 to provide 8 Mentor Me youth and their siblings with scholarships for a summer camp experience that includes water sports, education about our river heritage, and activities that encourage a healthy lifestyle.
